Millers Oils are constantly striving to improve their products via continuous research and development. As a result of this work, they have further improved the formulation of their extremely popular Diesel Power Ecomax and Eclipse fuel treatments. This has resulted in the products colour being visibly lighter than in previous formulations – so if you have received a bottle of “lighter than usual” Ecomax, don’t worry! This simply means that you have received one of the more recent batches.

These formula changes have resulted in a considerably improved product, offering additional benefits to this already tried and tested product. These include:

  • A further increase in engine performance – Now in excess of the previously achieved level of 4 Cetanes
  • Improved engine starting capability
  • Reduced engine noise
  • Reduced emission levels
  • Improved low foam formulation which improves refueling time

The detergency additive package also offers the following:

  • Quicker cleaning of fuel injectors
  • Improved fuel system cleanliness

This newly impoved Diesel Power Ecomax represents even better value for money, with prices starting from as little as £6.50, and available in the following sizes:

250ml One Shot Boost: Treats 60 litres

500ml Multishot: Treats 500 litres

5 Litre: Treats 5,000 litres

  1. Will ecopower max discolour if exposed to air? I have a 5 litre tin and it seems darker in colour than what was poured into my 500ml bottle around a month ago

    • Hi Tim,

A bit of a long delay in responding to your question, apologies for that!

According to my sources, the formulation of Ecomax was changed about a year to eighteen months ago and the change made it lighter in colour. Apparently, the active ingredients are light coloured, so by increasing the dose of the additives, it has made the product a lighter colour.

I hope that answers your question, please feel free to come back with further queries, we will try to answer a lot quicker next time!
